HAUNTED FORT AMHERST Kent (Saturday 6th November 2010)

FORT AMHERST, Kent
- Mysterious shadows. Phantom voices. Poltergeists & more -

NEW LOCATION for DH

with PHIL WHYMAN - 'Most Haunted'

HISTORY
Like many of the forts situated in the south of England, Fort Amherst was originally constructed as a defence from the threat of invasion by France. Fort Amherst dates back to the mid 1750's and formed part of the Brompton lines of defence, where its primary job was of protecting the Naval dockyard of the time, and is Britain's most complete Napoleonic fort. Inside the fort is littered with many dark and forboding tunnels, heading off hundreds of metres into the darkness. The Fort is now open for the general public to visit and explore.

GHOSTS & HAUNTINGS

Fort Amherst has an enviable association with the paranormal, and many believe this location to be perhaps the most haunted of all Britain's forts...But be warned; if the activity is as bad as reports suggest, we are in for a very frightening night!

THE POLTERGEIST

Fort Amherst is apparently home to a mischievous entity/spirit known as a poltergeist. This particular type of entity can cause all manner of unpleasan phenomenon, especially physical and often violent. Will the poltergeist make us aware of its presence here?

SHADOWS
Many visitors and paranormal investigators have experienced unexplained shadowy figures within the dark tunnels of Fort Amherst, many of which seem to vanish into thin air.

PHANTOM VOICES
Voices which seem to come from nowhere have been heard within the Fort. Upon investigation no source can be found. Are these connected to the many people who built and worked here.
Some have also reported hearing what they describe as possibly children and women.

OTHER REPORTED INCIDENTS:

Footsteps
Unexplained bangings and noises
Cold spots
Light anomalies
Strange smells
Feelings of depression and foreboding

Joining Phil Whyman and the Dead Haunted team will give you EXCLUSIVE access on the night to FORT AMHERST and the strange goings-on within..

YOUR DH EVENT INCLUDES:

A brief explanation of investigation equipment and theories for its usage.
A familiarisation tour of the building in lit conditions prior to the lights going out. Participation in vigils and paranormal experiments (participation is optional).

Testimonial

I would just like to thank-you all for a very interesting night that my husband and I had with you.
We have been on a number of these events before, and must say that the team not taking part in the actual experiments was very refreshing indeed...
