HAUNTED WALTON HALL MUSEUM, Essex (Saturday 4th Sept 2010)

WALTON HALL MUSEUM, Essex
- the nasty entity, dark shadows, poltergeist and more -

NEW LOCATION

A DHN TEAM EVENT

Dead Haunted are pleased to bring you a new location: Walton Hall Museum, Essex.

HISTORY
The land on which Walton Hall Museum now stands was once believed to have been a Roman settlement; some actually suggest that the main villa for the Roman settlement stood where the museum is today.
The main barn at Walton Hall Museum dates back almost 300 years to c1740, with parts of the main property dating back another 300 years to the 12th century.

GHOSTS AND HAUNTINGS

Walton Hall Museum certainly has seen some very strange incidents over the years, and is quickly gaining a reputation as being a very haunted location indeed.

THE NASTY ENTITY

The presence of a rather sinister, nasty man has been picked up numerous occasions throughout Walton Hall Museum. He is particularly nasty to ladies, and apparently is not too keen on children either. If reports are to be believed then we need to be careful with this particular character during our event.

THE UNEXPLAINED FIGURE

One unexplained incident involved the use of a thermal imaging camera. A unidentified 'human' shaped heat source was noted standing behind a seated group member...though there was no 'physical' person there!

THE POLTERGEIST

Another phenomenon to be wary of at the museum appears to be a resident poltergeist. Visitors have reported being pushed, poked and even scratched on occasion.

CHANGES IN ATMOSPHERE
In certain parts of the museum - the Bakery and Nursery rooms to name a couple - people have experienced bad headaches and feelings of nausea, to the point where they have had to leave; the whole atmosphere changes rapidly and some attribute this to the arrival of another foreboding spirit.

PHANTOM FOOTSTEPS, SLAMMING DOORS AND MORE

Unexplained footsteps have been heard regularly, and people report doors slamming shut for no apparent reason, as well as other knocks and loud bangings.

OTHER REPORTED INCIDENTS:

Light anomalies
Cold spots

Uneasiness

Joining the DEAD HAUNTED TEAM will give you EXCLUSIVE access on the night to WALTON HALL MUSEUM and the ghosts within.

Testimonial from KARL BEATTIE, TV's 'Most Haunted' show.

"I have always been interested in public events at haunted properties. As there are a multitude of ‘fly-by-night’ companies I had to be careful who to choose for my first ever experience. After a great deal of investigation the name hat kept appearing at the top of everyone’s list was DEAD HAUNTED NIGHTS. Realising that it was run by my old mate Phil Whyman I made the call. On the way to my first ever investigation of this type I was very apprehensive as I didn’t know what to expect, would this experience be all that I had hoped for, or was it going to be a deep disappointment?
As soon as I got there my fears started to alleviate. The organization was second to none, everyone knew where to go and what to expect, it was like clockwork a very well oil machine. As soon as we sat down Phil started with a greeting and, what can only be described as, a superb run down of all the equipment used in a ghost investigation. After that we started the investigation which was not only professional it was thoroughly enjoyable.
In summary DEAD HAUNTED NIGHTS offer a unique experience and insight into paranormal investigations. Phil and his team of experts combine friendliness with unequalled professionalism, allowing all who attend to be as involved as they like. No matter whether a seasoned investigator or first time rookie DEAD HAUNTED NIGHTS offers a night to remember for all. My night at Woodchester Mansion was superb, I can’t praise DHN enough, thanks for looking after us all. DEAD HAUNTED NIGHTS is truly the jewel in the crown of paranormal events companies. Thanks Phil."
